Apple Attorney Attacks Tablet Bounty
An Apple lawyer has demanded that tech industry gossip site Valleywag end an offer to pay $100,000 to anyone who brings the site the long-anticipated Apple tablet computer.

Mac OS X 10.6.3 开始测试 版本号10D522
苹果开始向部分开发人员和测试者发放Mac OS X 10.6.3的首个Beta外部测试版本，版本号为10D522，这将是Snow Leopard操作系统的第三款维护性升级包。
距离Mac OS X 10.6.2发布已经有近两个月的时间，在这期间苹果对代码进行了大量修正。据测试者称，10.6.3首个测试版容量即达到655.7MB，包含221处修正，涉及92种系统组件。其中仅可能导致程序或系统崩溃的Bug修正就接近60项。
据称苹果早在12月初就开始计划开放测试Mac OS X 10.6.3，但最终决定推迟到圣诞假期过后。在此之前，10.6.3的内部测试已经经过至少15个版本。

Music game fans hoping to take their plastic instrument playing skills on the road can rest easy. EA Mobile has released the iPhone and iPod Touch version of its console title, Rock Band, the game that allows you and your friends to strum, smash or sing along with your favorite songs.
As first revealed last week, this version allows you to use two to four iPhones (of the 3G or 3GS varieties) to play in the same room, via Bluetooth. Now you can play Rock Band anywhere you like without having to lug around the game disc, instruments, TV, game console, cables, and willingness to look silly in public. iphone 3gs固件firmware 3.1 jailbreak更新
The cat and mouse game continues between Apple and the Dev Team, a group of guys who are passionate about freeing Apple handheld devices from the company’s short leash. The Dev Team has been jailbreaking new Apple firmware for years, and it just did so again–though this time around it seems Apple is still taking the decisive lead.
The team announced Friday the availability of PwnageTool 3.13, which allows for jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone 3GS running the latest firmware, version 3.1. Currently only a Mac version of the tool is available, but the Windows version will be out soon. (Keep in mind, however, that you download and use the PwnageTool at your own risk.)
The custom firmware, apart from jailbreaking, will not upgrade the baseband–the chip that connects the phone to a service provider–and therefore still allows the phone to be unlocked.
But there’s a catch here. The tool only works with the iPhone 3GS that has been jailbroken with the firmware version 3.0 or 3.0.1. This means if you buy a new iPhone 3GS that already has version 3.1 on it or you have updated to version 3.1 using iTunes, there’s still no way to have your phone jailbroken. 根据AdMob（mobile advertising）公司的的数据显示，在过去2年里，iphone已经在手机广告市场占有40%，也就是说，nokia和rim都在失去自己的市场份额。
According to mobile advertising company AdMob, the iPhone’s world-wide smartphone market share has reached 40% in just over two years. Meanwhile, competitors Nokia and RIM lost ground.

iphone os 3.1已经被破解成功
Dev团队发布了破解iPhone 3.1固件的Pwnage工具。遗憾的是，它不能破解3GS和新款的iPod Touch，但是在不久之后肯定能破解掉的，等着瞧吧。
Dev团队称：由于苹果更新技术的改变，这只是一个不完全版本，通过配合PwnageTool的第一版（用来破解Mac OS X），便可以破解第一代iPhone（2G），第三代iPhone和iPod touch 1G。注意：不能支持3GS以及第2、3代的iPod touch。破解Mac OS X和Windows的 redsn0w将在不久之后发布。
